Remember those one, two, three, five and ten-paise coins?
Today I met the incredible force that is @sushmamehtashah who like many of us, found a treasure trove of these old and rare coins in her father in law’s father’s house.
Inspiration struck and she designed handcrafted earrings, necklaces and rings in her latest “itihaas” (paisa) collection. Check out my earrings made from these coins.
Her heritage collection (which I am wearing) has been hand dyed and features the elephant, the living incarnation Ganesh, the elephant-headed deity.
